About the brand. How it all started
The idea for CBD Rabbit came at the beginning of the full-scale war in 2022. At that time, I was looking for a CBD format that felt comfortable for me, and I quickly realized that oil was not the right fit because of its bitter taste, the mouthfeel, and the unclear dosing.
The first step was researching the European market. I found CBD chocolate, but in most cases the dosage was minimal, around 10 mg per 100 g bar. For my needs, that was simply not enough.
Taking the Ukrainian context into account, I decided to go a different way and create a clearly noticeable format within a single candy. That is how we became the first to make a candy with 50 mg of CBD. Later, other brands began to use this approach too, and today some already work with even higher dosages.
At the start, I had no technological base. The first experiments were very simple: I was literally mixing CBD oil with chocolate. The result was interesting, so I began testing the product on friends.
Many of them do not consume meat or animal-derived products, so it was important for me to create sweets without ingredients of animal origin.
During the following year, I experimented with technologies and ingredients, while also shaping the brand and learning how to launch production properly and legally.
By the end of May 2023, Cod Rabbit candies first appeared in friends' venues in Kyiv — Tea Army and Karma Bar.

Why rabbits
I love rabbits and believe they are my totem animal.
They are incredibly interesting: unique-looking, tactical, energetic, fertile, and although they are not predators, they can still fight back even against a wolf.
So for me, the question "why rabbits?" never really existed.
What was much more interesting was how to combine that image with cannabis in a way that felt appropriate, light, and free of clichés.

Ingredient quality
We work only with real, understandable ingredients.
Natural cocoa butter, freeze-dried fruits without additives, premium-grade matcha — everything we use matters not only in taste but also in origin.
We deliberately avoid artificial colorings, sweeteners, and cheap substitutes. Yes, that sometimes means a less perfect color or appearance. But for us, what matters more is not how the product looks in a photo, but what it truly is. At the same time, we do strive for beauty, which is why we experiment a lot in the process of creating each candy.
Transparency and responsibility
We pay special attention to legality and transparency in production.
We have all the necessary documents and permits to work openly and responsibly.
For us, this is not a formality but part of our respect for both the product and the people.

We are building a brand we want to see in the future Ukraine — open, conscious, diverse, and humane.
